Life Skill Education

The Life Skills Education program aims to help clients make decisions and take actions that positively impact their lives and the lives of those around them. One of the primary goals of the program is to promote psychological as well as physical well-being.

Life skills programming also shows promise as a VAWG prevention strategy, insofar as life skills can address both individual and interpersonal issues which inform the perpetration of violence. While life skills programming related to VAWG is relatively new to conflict-affected settings, there are isolated examples from which to build a broader base of practice.

What to Expect From Us

Our aim is to reach out to young boys and girls through the life skills programmes which is inculcated within their education system as well as outside, and train them to develop leadership abilities, provide vocational training, and integrate elements of empowerment for girls and young women.
